We stayed at ryokan room with share bathroom. Room is big and clean. It is comfortable and with full amenities. (Green tea, electric water boiler, refrigerator, toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, towel). Share bathroom is clean, with bath gel and shampoo. The hotel has free private onsen in open space (45 mins each for each booking), nice and good experience. The common area also equipped with Microwave, and vending machines, very considerate! We had breakfast in the hotel, it is in Japanese style, very tasty and big portion. We had breakfast for two days and it was the same food. It will be great if hotel can change the breakfast menu daily. Hotel is not far from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, just approx 5 mins walk. Hotel owner also pick up and drop us off on arrival and departure. Very nice and friendly. Just 3 mins walk there is a snow resort, very convenient. Definitely will come back, highly recommend!
