Kinosaki THE CRAB HOUSE KANIAN

The place is wonderful! the interior is very nicely decorated and the oya-san is a very friendly lovely lady. She did her best introducing the various hot springs and temples around kinosaki. She also helped my carry my bulky luggage up the stairs to my room! During my 2 nights stay, i was the only guest in house. The room i stayed in is spacious and very nicely decorated. toilet is perfect :P they have a ryokan-onsen on the first floor, which was mine only cause i was the only guest. They even have a bookshelf of japanese manga in the hallway. Oya-san brought breakfast up to the room every morning. and the breakfast was wonderful :) She also changed the yukata every day for me. And the yukata! is really lovely! unlike the big ryokans around town, where every guest wears sort of a "uniformed" ryokan-yukata, same colour same pattern for both genders, Kanian's yukata was elegant and nice. I kind of stood out when i was strolling the streets in my yukata hehe. Some tourists from taiwan even asked me for a photo. I really enjoyed my stay here! the best i had in my entire trip. will definitely come back to Kanian if i were to come back to Kinosaki someday! for people taking a stay in Kinosaki town, be sure to try their famous crab! The ryokan is located in a walkable distance from the train station. there are town-buses but walking to Kanian is a lovely experience as you can take in the sights. If you are walking, pop in to the information centre and ask them to draw you a map! They are very very friendly :)
