We loved the hotel. We had a Japanese room and slept very well on the futons. Onsen was WONDERFUL especially the outdoor one. Breakfast was great and dinner was good too although some parts of the Japanese menu were a little out of our comfort zone. Hotel shuttle allowed us to explore Shimoda without needing a taxi. Beach view was beautiful and we had lovely walks along the beach towards the shrine.
