15 reviewsOur deluxe accommodation was beyond deluxe....this snow cabin is huge!! It’s a family home of the owner that has been renovated into 2 large rental units. Ours was a 2 storey house that could sleep at least 10 people. Very spacious and homely with a large porch overlooking a few ski slopes, an enclosed verandah for our snow shoes & equipment plus laundry area and racks to dry our ski gears, a living room with ample seatings and sofa beds, tv and projector screen for movie screenings, dining room overlooking a picturesque winter village, a fully equipped kitchen, 7 single beds upstairs and 2 bathrooms beautifully renovated. It’s very near a ski resort, about 100m walk. Not as full & packed as Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort ( we were there during the NY hols ). The owner Daichi is very accomodating and prompt with emails & text messages. He provides shuttle transfers to n from Echigo Yuzawa & Gala Yuzawa stations to his rentals. Just need to inform him of your itinerary and he can help with transfers & ski rental suggestions. We will definitely be back to this lovely place next winter.
