This business hotel is sold by booking sites as Hotel Asahikan. It is not new, but it offers excellent rates including a small Japanese breakfast. No English spoken, but friendly people, they offered to cook the raw egg of the breakfast for me. Everything was fine, it is only 5 minutes from the JR station. A good place to rest after a multiday hike in the Southern Alps, which are easily accessed by bus from Kofu.
