Onyado Sakaya

絹のように優しく体を包む掛け値なしの源泉かけ流し。 かつて黒澤明監督が「あきのこない湯」だと気に入り、2か月間逗留したのも納得の温泉宿だ。 宿は古く昭和の香がそこかしこに漂い、まるで数十年前にタイムスリップしたかのような懐かしい気持ちになる。 きらびやかな施設もなければ、これ見よがしのサービスも一切ない。 だが部屋は細かいところまで清掃が行き届き、何気なくかけられている絵画や書 骨董品は素晴らしい。 岡本太郎の作品展示が有名だが、実は他にも宝物がいっぱい眠っているのだ。 料理も丁寧でとてもレベルの高い懐石を提供する。 いちばん少ないコースを頼んだが食べきれないほどの量だった。 この値段で最高の温泉と美味しい料理、いま伊豆ではなかなか得難い 素晴らしい温泉宿、ぜひお薦めしたい。 There are many hot springs in Japan but you have to be careful about finding the real Onsen. If you really would like to try Gensen Kakenagashi(the natural hot spring directly from the source), this is it ! Many of the socalled Onsen( hot spring) are boiled or cooled with water in circulated manner in Japan. Sakaya is an old hot spring inn with more than 400 year history. It is not modern or fancy at all, but you can travel beyond the time. Their service is not very talkative but sincere. They serve authentic Japanese Kaiseki dinner which has more than enough volume. I enjoyed the breakfast of local food as well. I recommend this inn to those who seek the real Onsen and old Japanese style Ryokan with reasonable rate.
