Our group of 11 people all loved our stay. Fabulous owner who looked after us very well. The place is very clean and cozy. A fabulous communal room with Wood fire heater. Great breakfast of toast, cereal, yoghurt and fruit for our whole party was included.bus outside door to take you to ski runs. Highly recommend.

Cosy lodge which has a bus stop right opposite which bring people to different ski slopes. Good hospitality. Staff is helpful. Basic breakfast spread which is good enough and yummy too

Lovely snow view. Walkable to Echoland area for more good options 

Comfortable bed

However, limited space /shelves to place wardrobe items and toiletries. For light sleepers to note, the walls and doors are not sound proofed. Conversation and footsteps can be heard through walls and doors. 

Cosy place

We visited Hakuba for a ski trip over the New Year and were fortunate to find Uchimaru Hakuba in our search for the most suitable accommodation.

Our stay was fantastic and what a gem this place is. We read the amazing reviews and knew it was right for us but arriving and seeing the accommodation was like coming home. The communal living room were warm and cosy at the end of a day skiing and just the place to sit and refresh. The kids loved hanging out in the games room and playing in the snow in the front yard.

The shuttle bus stops outside the door making getting to and from the slopes easy and there are many restaurants and pubs within a short walking distance.

Jane went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. Restaurant recommendations and bookings, checking ski conditions for different resorts, advising  on lift passes, lessons, ski gear, nothing was too much.

You read the reviews and their impressive but the reality is even better!

Don’t miss a dinner at a Yokos across the road. Wonderful, mouth watering meals, we could have eaten there every night.

Gem in Hakuba 

Super clean, great simple breakfast (love the cereal), very cosy common area, and absolutely loved the games room. Overall a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again when we are in Hakuba.

Family friendly; lovely place

Our family enjoyed our trip there with the host making arrangements for all the awesome dinner recommendations and babysitting our son. The place is super clean and helps that the common area is comfy!

Great hospitality and immaculate living space

Stayed from Friday December 21, 2018 till Sunday December 23, 2018. This is definitely a diamond in the rough. Perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. Warm and cozy with the feeling of home. Jane and Kana made me feel welcomed and were very professional as hosts. I highly recommend Uchimaru Hakuba for anyone who wants to feel at home with the added conveniences of the shuttle bus stop and Yoko's "awesome" dinning directly across the street.

Awesome Place

We stayed at Uchimaru during late Feb/early March during our snow trip and loved it! Jane is a wonderful host and the lodge itself is so great! Clean, new and a really cosy feel. Jane takes care of guests so well. We loved that breakfast was provided each morning, that the bus stop was right outside and the location over all. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here when visiting Hakuba again :)
