Ca'dell'orto Rooms

We stayed for one week in this beautiful hotel. 2 bedroom family suite was great because there was 4 adults and 2 children on this trip and we wanted to stay in the same apartment but have enough privacy. The garden of the hotel is an absolute piece of art. Pool are was nice and breakfast was great (a lot of fresh fruits, local pastery etc). The whole staff was amazing - Manuela and Chiara were so hospitable, sweet and helpful. We love to spend our holidays in these family owned, atmospheric hotels. There is a big chance that we will come back to this hotel. There was a lot of parking space (and even a parking garage and lift to the rooms). We loved to spend our evenings by grapping pizza from near by pizzeria and playing games outside in the garden. Neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. Walk to the center of old Verona takes around 25-30 minutes but you can have a bus or taxi as well. Hospital is near (our baby boy got ill). Only negatives are that there isn't possibility for a lunch/dinner in this hotel but the nearest market and pizza restaurant is about 10 min walk. Also soundproofing wasn't the best because we heard quite a lot of noise when people/cleaner were moving furnitures upstairs. This only bothered because we tried to sleep our child. We made day trips to Venice (1h30min drive) and to Garda/Sirmione (45min drive). We were here on September and the weather was great (around +25c). There was only one rainy day in the end of our 7 day vacation. After that, mornings turned very cold but during the day there was still warm. Overall a well kept, beautiful hidden gem that melts your heart. Thank you Ca Dell Orto, thank you Italy! Toni, Petra, Amos
