La Tenuta

The four of us travelled through Sicily and decided to stay at this B&B which was recommended by an acquaintance. The house belongs to a very nice family who live there and rent out a couple of rooms. The household is in very good hands, the hostess is very kind and treats you like you are a relative. For those who like domestic animals, here you have geese, horses, parrots, dogs of various sizes and breeds, but in spite of that we never experienced any disturbance from them. You can overview Ethna from the terrace as well. Breakfast is included in the price and is very nutritious and homely. You can also park your car inside the territory. The only drawback of the place is that it cannot be easily reached by public transport and the family don't speak any English (which we did not notice, since the sign language and English-Italian dictionary helped and entertained us a lot).
