From the very first contact by email until our departure, the hosts were exceptionally caring and overly friendly. We spent five days in Sardinia / B&B Nonna Nina and we were very happy with the green room. It was extremely clean, nicely designed, comfortable bed, air conditioning and cleaned once during our stay. The breakfast was served by Nonna Nina and we were offered some typical Sardinian sweet specialites along with good coffee and a warm conversation with tipps for the day. We asked to arrange a dinner in a typical Sardinian agriturismo nearby and Nonna's daugther Maria took care of it. We had the best dinner EVER in "Agriturismo Su Murtale". It was perfect! When we asked for a taxi there, Maria organised a typical Italian taxi. We paid 60€ for two per night and I'd say that you cannot get any better value for money. It is a 7 minute walk from the old town of Orosei and a 5-10 minute drive to the closest beaches. The host also organised a boat trip in the Golf of Orosei which was amazing. Highly recommended! Nonna Nina and Maria as well as her husband Carmello, who runs a shop for local specialites in the old town, made our stay so enjoyable. GRAZIE MILLE!

Perfect stay, most welcoming hosts!

Although we had confirmed our arrival time the previous day and had it acknowledged, we had to wait a while outside before phoning Nonna Nina on our mobile whereupon she arrived and let us in. It is not lived in by the owners and we were the only occupants that night, no problem.

Breakfast was a little disconcerting, Nonna arrived to set out her plastic cutlery and beakers, an array of very sweet Sardinian cakes but apart from a bit of dubious cheese nothing very appetising. Her coffee machine performed well but it one cup only. She sat and scrutinised throughout. 

We slept well, air con worked, scrupulously clean what more do you need for a one night pit stop.

However the garden and next door land is entirely taken up with a huge development of reinforced concrete, now deserted and weed grown, but if it was a working site we would have run a mile.

Clean, pleasant and a short walk to a piazza and restaurant

B&B is located in further district from city center. The building doesn't look very nice from outside, but the rooms are very nice furnished, are clean and spacious.
Nonna Nina doesn't speak English and doesn't look very friendly. The breakfast is served on plastic plates and mugs, with plastic cutlery.
