We had a great stay for 3 nights at Il Casalone Sylvia is very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. As we were arriving in the evening she asked ahead if we needed any provisions and they were waiting for us when we arrived. In a beautiful setting up a bit of a hill but well worth the effort to get to. Lovely swimming pool which was nice and warm in the not sun. Great apartment with all mod-cons, we needed nothing else. Air conditioning in all bedrooms and main living room. Lovely little outside space we could sit for breakfast on a morning. Would love to return to this place at some point as very handy for getting into Florence. One thing worth mentioning, if you get the tram to Florence, once you have bought your tickets make sure you stamp them when you are on the tram (yellow box in each carriage) as we didn't and were hit with an 80 Euro 💶 fine.
