We simply lucked into this place. My Lovely felt like rather than get over JetLag in the bowels of Florence we should retreat to the close by HillTop Village of Fiesole. Great Idea. And spending three nights here at the Casa Sofia was perfect. The lady who runs/owns the place is a treat, Lovely smile, and her team of help, meaning she and another lady, do a great job making you comfortable. We had a lovely Large room in the back, and, by the way, this ‘Villa” is behind some gasoline pumps, don’t let that freak you out, it doesn’t become an issue. There are many good restaurants near by; wonderful Sunsets just a steep walk up the hill away. The #7 Bus takes you down to Florence’s main train station in about thirty minutes, there you’ll be in five minutes walkable distance from most all of the tourist attractions.
