Astro Suite Hotel

I had an amazing time in Cefalù and stayed at this magnificent hotel for a week. I got home last night. The staff here are an incredible asset to the hotel. Super welcoming and informative. The suite comprises a small functional kitchen in a lounge area, a bedroom, I found the bed very comfortable, a small hallway with a full size mirror and extra hanging space for clothes and, of course a shower room, complete with a bidet plus a porthole window with an incredible view. The breakfasts were good. Lots of choice. I sat outside on the patio each morning, drinking coffee, juice and eating a selection of breads, cheeses, meats and honey...although there are other choices such as fruits, yoghurt, cereals, eggs etc. I also sat out in tbe garden one afternoon with a glass of wine, which was delicious and inexpensive. There is a supermarket a five minute walk away to buy food to have in your room. The beach is great. I went to Lido Peter Pan on the advice of reception staff, all of which were fantastic. Hotel Astro Suites is a fabulous place to stay. The train station is within walking distance for Palermo. I did a boat trip which was an awesome experience (Stromboli was an incredible sight) - but beware, it was a 16 hour day! Well worth it though. All in all, I highly recommend Hotel Astro Suites. I'd give more stars if I could.
