We spent two weeks in July 2017 and had a perfect vacation. The apartments are clean and essential: what you need and nothing else. The beds are very comfortable and everything works. The owner is present and helpful, there is fresh bread delivered to the complex every day upon request and a fruit and vegetables truck goes by 2 or 3 times a week. A platform hosts yoga classes in the evening, there are outdoor grills and bikes to rent. There are also reserved parking spots that are close to the apartments but far enough not to be a nuisance.

Perfect to be away from it all

We returned to A Cova and I guess we will return once we come back to Carloforte (I hope soon). The place is simply perfect from whatever angle you look at it. The location on the hedge of the cliff with view on the sea. The proximity with two sandy and a couple of rocky beaches where you can just walk. The quite and relaxing atmosphere that really incarnates the spirt of the islands. The very very cosy apartments built in ecologically sustainable manner (that reminds you that we are guests in this paradise .. and this is good). The gentle and professional management of Francesca. All conjures for a coming back ,,,

Paradise in Paradise

What's a place!. The setting is just spectacular, the nice bungalows very confortable and, above alĺ, Francesca a wonderful hostess that make you feel at home. She is from the Camonica Valley in north en Italy and with the help of the whole family she build with her hands this magnificent place. The panorama is wonderful, you even have two easy chairs on the top of the propriety were,at night, you can contemplate the Sky. If you look for a 5stars hotel this place is not for you. If you are looking for an unspoiled nature with a near by beautiful  beaches with Crystal clear water this place is a must. Francesca is also very helpful to  you tips about restaurants and the hi story of this small paradise island. If you wish, she can even cook for you. I write in english because i wish that sensitive international travellers can visit this place. Francesca and her family are the best exemple of italian entrepreneurship and hospitability. Brigitte and I will be back to residenza Cova as soon as possible for one week break

We found Residenza a Cova at random while we were looking for a nice place to stay in Caloforte.
The place is much more beautiful than what you can see on the picture... this place is like heaven on earth!
Villas are really nice and Francesca is adorable.

nothing to say... perfect

We started the 2013 season at Residenza A Cova with our family (3 chilren). We had a magnificant stay of 3 nights in Isola San Pietro. After visiting Sardenia for one week, this was a very good choice, Carloforte is charming and the Residenza A Cova is peaceful, with a beautiful view on the sea, and a lovely white sand beach within 5 min walk. Francesca, the owner, will tell you where to go and what to see, and knows all the shops and restaurants of Carloforte and is a very good guide! We hope to come again, longer! Good luck Francesca and bravo for your very pretty and well decorated residence.
