21 reviewsDiana's has a single guest room with a direct entrance from a porch with views out over the roofs of Jerusalem's Morasha district. Our host, Uriel, lives upstairs so you have sufficent privacy and our own private bathroom and prepares a delicious traditional Israeli meal every morning (continental style: pastries, bagels, yogurt, etc). Uriel is full of local knowledge and helpful hints to save money - what buses to take, recommendations of things to see, where to eat, where to get a drink on the Sabbath (very useful when in Jerusalem on a Friday night!). His little tips make you feel like you are having a more local experience of the city than you would have in a hotel or as part of a tour. Location was excellent - about 10 minutes from the Damascus Gate into the Old City, but only 10 minutes in the other direction from Jaffa Street/Ben Yehuda with all the Downtown Triangle's bars and restaurants. The best of both worlds.
