Sika Lodge B&B  is located just outside Killarney, beside the national park and about a 20-minute walk to the centre of town. The house is beautiful and the rooms are quite spacious.  Ours was bright and airy and had a queen bed and a single bed, with a wardrobe, a small desk, a TV/DVD and a chair.  There was also a kettle to make coffee or tea.  The attached bathroom had a shower, sink and toilet.  The shower was strong and there was lots of hot water. The towels were nice and large and shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided. There is a strong wifi signal.  Off street parking is provided.  

We were welcomed very warmly by one of the owners, Serena, who provided us with lots of useful information and a map.  The house is very neat and clean and there are lots of extras that you can ask for (bagged lunches, ice, etc.). There is a large main-floor sitting room with a selection of books and movies.  Breakfast included a selection of cereals, fruit salad, bread, pastries, cheese and yoghurt, and your choice of several cooked meals.  Serena is an excellent cook and always has special treats on hand.

This was the most expensive B&B we stayed in during our 7-day road trip but it was also the best, and we do not regret spending a little extra for such fine accommodation.  This would be our first choice on returning to Killarney.

First Rate!

Staying at the B&B with Serena and her family is the best choice we could make. It's a beautiful house with many lovely details and very comfortable rooms. The highlight is Serena's home-made breakfast: There is a buffet and additionally an extra menue from which you get the choice of what you would like to eat. Soooo yummy! The B&B is walking distance to the town and National Park and just the perfect base to discover Ring or Kerry.

Wonderful place to stay including delicious breakfast!

We stayed at the Sika Lodge for 2 nights and the home was very welcoming as was the owner, Serena.  She was very helpful in giving us ideas for things to do in Killarney (Ross Castle, Muckross House, Torc Waterfall, etc.) , most of which were a short drive away so the location was great.  It was also within walking distance to town or a short drive.  She's a great cook and had a nice variety for breakfast and do try her homemade jams and baked goods, they are delicious!  We would definitely stay here again next time we're back in Killarney!

Lovely Home and Owner with a Delicious Breakfast & a Great Location!

A lovely b & b conveniently located to killarney and ring of Kerry. Our host was very friendly and helpful with suggestions to visit. The breakfast was excellent and we really appreciated the little extras like having some cakes and slices cooked for when we arrived. We would strongly recommend staying there.

Lovely place to stay

Stayed here for 1 night. From the time we arrived to when we left the host Sarina was excellent even rang taxi for us into town. The rooms are a very high standard, very clean room and tea making facilities available. The breakfast was amazing along with bread that was home made by owner. Also on arrival we were given home made tasty sweet treats which was lovely. Highly recommend!

Excellent

This B&B has rave reviews from most guests. The rooms are comfortable and even the single had room for a double bed. Serena is known for her breakfasts and they didn’t disappoint. Nice touches like the treat at the door to welcome each guest. The walk to town is about 15-20 minutes if you want to avoid taking your car in when you go for dinner. Serena gave us some good suggestions for dinner and for how to spend our time. Overall a good experience 

Trip to Ireland 

We stayed for one night, nice and clean place. Breakfast included, which was nice and tasty. Room nice and very clean . Owner is very nice person and very helpful .Good location 15 by walk from heart of killarney.

Sika Lodge was an amazing little B&B. Serena was a lovely host and an amazing cook! The house was clean and cozy. We were close to Killarney National Park so we could run through the park (it was great to see without anyone else). We were also about a 20 minute walk from town. I highly recommend the Sika Lodge for anyone who is staying in Killarney.

Loved, loved, loved!!

I choose Sika Lodge for my small birthday gateway. It was a fantastic choice!Especially Serena the owner, she was wonderful from the beginning to the end of my stay. The B&b is extremely nice and warm, there is this feeling of being home at all time. Rooms are very comfortable, you do not have a smart TV but as alternative ye have a TV with DVD lecture which is brilliant, you can grab one of the DVD selection downstairs in the lobby and you are sorted for the evening! The breakfast is amazing you order the night before what you by leaving the breakfast menu and time selected in a box outside in the corridor and then in the morning when you go for breakfast Serena welcome you and prepares what your ordered straightway, everything is cooked by Serena who is an amazing chef, that homemade nutella is Superb! I am an hospitaly expert and I can assure that I will reccomend Sika lodge to who ever pass by Killarney! I will be definitely back in the future!

My birthday gateway

We had a fantastic stay in Killarney thanks to Serena and her amazing hospitality. The location is a nice walk along a brook into town and the rooms are beautifully presented. They are cosy without being too small. The lodge had a really nice sitting room with a fireplace, books,  dvd's & a coffee machine for your use.Although there are a few other rooms we had did not have any issues with noise from other guests.  Serena could not have been a more helpful and delightful host. As for her famous breakfasts, OMG just AMAZING. The crepes were so light they melted in your mouth & each morning she would put out a different treat which were just to die for. Could not recommend more highly.
