223 reviewsSli Na Mara is a lovely B&B, owned and operated by Bridie and George, and is centrally located on a quiet residential street in Galway. It is an easy 10 minute walk into the center of town and a lovely 15 minute stroll to the seafront promenade. There is off-street parking for several cars. When we arrived, Bridie warmly greeted us and escorted us to our bright, comfortable and spacious en-suite room overlooking her garden. She made us feel completely at home, with her warm and welcoming smile. Bridie's knowledge of the area, recommendations and advice for attractions made our trip more special. We particularly enjoyed the Corrib River Cruise that Bridie recommended. Breakfasts served in a large sun-drenched room were sumptuous, offering both cold and cooked to order breakfasts. Nothing was too much for Bridie, she's a wonderful hostess. We would definitely stay with Bridie and George again if we are in the Galway area.
