3 of us stayed at Cosy Joes for 2 nights at weekend 
From the minute we arrived we where made so welcome 
Joe and his staff where so friendly and helpful 
We had a lovely seaview room and great having a private carpark at Joes
Brilliant internet connection 
We will definitely be back

Myself and 2 friends spent 2 nights here and as we only decided last minute, we where very happy they could accommodate us.

When we arrived Dani was very welcoming and helped us out immensely and nothing was too much trouble for her.
We asked her if we could change rooms to a room with a view and after a quick phone call to Joe the owner, she confirmed we could have the room we asked for.
The beds/rooms where spotless and so comfortable, breakfast is included in the price of the room and you can use the large kitchen/diner to make you own food.
There was a lovely atmosphere in Cosy Joe’s and we felt right at home there.
There are great car parking facilities at the back of the building and what can I say about that view!
Stunning!!
Thank you guys, we’ll be back!

Hidden Gem in Bundoran

Excellent!

Prior to arriving we wearnt expecting to much as it was very cheap, we stayed here for 2 nights but by the end of the 2 nights my expeditions before hand where still too high.. 

We wearnt welcomed when we arrived we had to go find someone to check us in, we got a small double room with a shared bathroom, the bathroom wasnt great and there was no toilet roll at all, the headboard on the bed was super annoying if you moved the slightest it sounded like it was going to go through the wall, the bed wasnt to bad but the pillows were awful! My boyfriend actually had to go ask for new ones which were just lumpy, the room wouldnt even be classed as basic the only good thing about the room was the view! The curtain also didnt cover the window so light came in very early!

We slept ok though and went down for breakfast our first morning. This was my biggest disappointment, there was cereal and toast and that was it and the cereal was only corn flakes or branflakes, we got offered toast and we said yes.A basket of bread was placed at our table, in shock my boyfriend turnt the basket around to face me when i realised the toast was all moulded!! We felt very awkward and didnt say anything which was a mistake, so breakfast was a huge disappointment and we didnt have breakfast here the following morning. 

We love bundoran and have been coming to the beautiful town for years, but cosy joes really let us down its well below the standard of basic and TLC wouldnt be enough. Its sad to say as the people were lovely but you get what you pay for which we deffintly learnt.

Disappointed

I really don't like to leave bad reviews but in this case I feel compelled to as it was less than substandard, the place is a hostel and no frills however there is no excuse for filth!
Chris who checked us in was very nice but we were told the room we booked wasn't available so we were put in a triple room with bathroom, which I felt was better than the original room with no bathroom  but the room had a bad smell, a hole in the wall, tobacco all over the window sill and generally very grubby. 

Once we had left our bags off in the room I went to wait in the pleasant lounge whilst the room was being made up, I was then told we had to move room as the property had been overbooked, that was fine and we had no objections except we were moved from a triple room with bathroom into a small double room with a shared bathroom (possibly the original room we were meant to get?!). The curtain in the room did not cover the window, actually pretty pointless even having one. The shared bathroom was filthy, floor covered in pubic hair.  We were woken by noisy guests using the bathroom late at night, not helped by the fact that there was a glass panel above the bedroom door so when someone turned the bathroom light on the room was light up like someone just turned the lights on in the room! 

Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and after being woken again at 3am by noisy drunks (this time on the street not the property's fault clearly) I did not get back to sleep and lay awake all night waiting for sunrise so we could leave as soon as possible. 

Basic is ok but this place is in dire need of some TLC and a good clean. I thought for just one night it would be okay and since it was a last minute booking we were grateful to get somewhere however I could never stay here again. I was horrified to discover someone had 'missed' the toilet bowl in the shared first floor loo, and there was feces on the floor.  We didn't stick around for breakfast so i can't comment on that. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Disappointing, dirty and no sleep.

Once we arrived we had to stand in living room for 20mins as there was no one around. Eventually someone came and spoke to us. The girl was really nice so I had high expectations. She then took us to are room which was very old looking. Two bunk beds and a bathroom which was very dirty. The radiator was very badly rusted. The shower was laughable as it had just about enough power to spray the water out. The room dont seem to b cleaned very well. Its like a very bad hostel. Next morning we went for breakfast which was very very poor. I wanted some milk for my coffee I wasnt aloud to touch the bottle lol. There must b a shortage of milk in cosy joes. I also had a 4 year old who was crying asking for a drink. Nothing for children to drink. Other children were also looking for a drink aswel. The had to go to the shop and buy some. In the end up me and my partner had to go up the street for breakfast. €80 for 1 night. Wasnt worth €20. I was really surprised because it has quiet good reviews. Will never be back
