Bening Bungalow

I booked through Hostelworld. I got a room for my girlfriend and I. They told us our room had a kitchen... it just ended up being a kitchen sink with counter space haha. Not much cooking going on in there. We got room 2, which the entrance door was difficult and needed patients to get into each time, AND the overhead fan was really rowdy and noisy. We decided not to use that fan and asked for a side fan, which they brought to us. Upon entering the room, it smelled of artificial fragrance- like an air freshener. I found a bag of glad air freshener and sat it outside the door since those things make me sick. I ended up extending my stay longer. It's not a crazy luxurious place to stay, but it's cheap, safe and the complimentary breakfast is good. My last night being there, I came back to my room and smelled the air freshener scent again. It was super strong. Using the fan, and opening the windows didn't help. Turns out someone cleaning the room sprayed air freshener all in. After about a hour I had a headache and asked the girls at the front desk if I could have another room, they put me in room 1- I actually had a fridge, so I stored leftovers in there, the doors were easier to lock, there was no smell and the overhead fan worked just fine. Wifi worked great here too. I'd say if you don't mind a bare bones room, this place is great... especially since it's a stones throw from the Yoga Barn.
