My friend had been staying here for three months paying on time each month 
He wanted to extend his stay for a further two weeks ( half a month ) however they wanted more than half the months rent and then asked him for a further one nights rent on the day he left ( although it was still within his paid time ) 
This homestay is GREEDY and uncaring it’s all about money money money all their room rates are different prices depending on how much they think they can rip you off on the day !!!! They are nosey always watching and sitting right where people are the old lady is the most greedy person and most nosey !!!!! 
It’s a really bad place to stay there are places with better karma in Sanur do not choose this greedy greedy money money give me give me place with no heart 
They do not value a loyal good customer instead they just want to rip them off !!!!!! That old lady will completely ruin their business !!!!!!!!!

Greedy homestay will rip you off

If you are looking for a quiet, clean, and downright pleasant environment that is conveniently located in Sanur, then look no further. I can't say enough kind words to express my gratitude to Donna and his family. I fell ill due to a diving accident while working in Nusa Penida and had to rush over to Sanur to get to the hospital. Originally I booked two nights with Donna, but ended up at Kasih Ibu in Saba. 

When I was released from the hospital Donna and his family welcomed me back in when I returned. They checked in with me daily, and his wonderful daughter Diani took care of me with wonderful breakfast every morning and checked in to make sure I was feeling okay each day. They treated me like I was a part of the family and I will be sure to stay here each time I return to Sanur. 

Any of the rooms are ideal, and the grounds are quiet and beautiful with plenty of shade and a garden throughout the grounds. It is also down a side street off of the main road, so it is quiet at night without motorbike traffic and honking taxis. 

I am indebted to this family for their kindness, their smiles, and their genuine care about how I was doing on my road to recovery. Donna and family, thank you so much for everything! I will see you again soon.

Donna Homestay: Where I am treated like I am part of the family

We had an amazing experience staying at Donna Homestay. 
First of all it is a very cozy place located in just 5-7min walk from Sanur Beach. We had a nice room with our own veranda and bathroom. Always had hot water and free WiFi. 
The breakfast is enough for the whole day almost. We had toasted bread with jam, banana pancakes and omelette, coffee, tea, water  and a lot of fruit. 
Our landlord even helped us to solve some problems with the locals and return our money ( be careful, the money exchangers cheat you everywhere)
They also can help you to organise a whole day activity or to rent a car. 
If I ever return to Bali I will definitely stay there again.

A cozy place with the friendliest and most helpful people ever

Definitely the best hotel in town. This place is run by family and they were as more friendly as you can imagine. We had a very pleasant stay and son of family drove us to airport after checkout without any extra charge.

We stayed here as a stop over before a midnight flight. 

Great location and simple rooms with hot showers and a comfy bed. 

No pool or attached kitchen but suited us perfectly. 

Close to eateries, shops and the beach.
