Fantastic
20 reviewsAfter a few days in Ubud we were looking for some peace and quiet, which we certainly found. The homestay was beautiful Balinese architecture, very homely and we were well looked after including a choice of a traditional breakfast. We did not miss the vendor assertion of Ubud, and were treated in a kind and respectful manner, both by the young waiters and the owner. The seafood broth was to die for! Snorkling on the developing reef, with regular beach clean up from plastic was a treat for the eye and based on sustainability principles. The owner explained he was one of the first people involved in restoring the coral, and his is the first homestay in the area. The homestay is small in scale with nice garden and very close to the beach, walking through a resort. The only downside is that the restaurant is close to a main road, with the accommodation at the back of the property away from traffic noise.
