Javana Spa

We came with not much expectation after reading the other reviews. We took the 3D/2N package because we didn't want to drive for hours just to drive back for hours again the next day. The place was amazing. Yes the hotel was old, as it was built in 1991. Not much change to the rooms and other facilities since then. However, if you can look pass the minor details like faucet is leaking, old fashion spa facilities and old fashion rooms then you will enjoy Javana Spa. The trees, the waterfalls, the mountains, the cool weather and the sound of birds and monkeys, I love it so much. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Since there were only 4 guests for the weekend, we have the whole place and full attention to ourselves. A day there is hiking, eat, yoga, sauna/steam/whirlpool, spa treatment and repeat. Take the spa package instead of room only. All the add ons are more expensive that way. Package includes room, guide for hiking, yoga instructor, spa treatment and meals. So worth it. Downside is the place is open to public, there were outside groups who came to look at the place unsupervised. They roamed around, even to the guest room area which is disturbing.
