Old style, hommie, warm, the owner and staff are friendly, they have food court in their yard in front of the guest house. The room is old style for VIP room. 3 people can sleep in the VIP room. VIP room have bathub and large bath room. This Guesthouse is 24 hour access.

Experience

The place is cozy and I felt very much at home with friendly and nice people at the guest house. It's just walking distance to shopping places like Heritage, Cascade, Secret, etc. You can also arrange for transport with the guest house and Pak Deddy, the driver is a very friendly and helpful man.

Big and clean room, friendly staff, strategic location.  

downside is, they exchanged our room without notice. 

we reserved small room, but since they exchange it to bigger one so there is no problem at all. we only have to pay the price of the small room.

and if you bring kids, pay extra attention to them because there are a lot of fragile home decor (vase, paintings, ornaments)

Great Experience

my experience at Buminaninie was horrible on the safety site since we travelled in a group of 8 lady. they allowed outsider to come and find you. and since we are not local people. the caretaker for this home doesnt really matter and didnt consider that we are the guest of the house that he should take care of,my brother have a friend who always travelled in bandung.so there offered their driver service for free of charge.and since my friends refuse to use the service,i decided to inform my brothers friend that we dont want their driver.but what happened when i was in bandung.my brothers friend driver came to buminaninie and request for compensation from us (to pay the total amount for 4 days we are there) since we cancelled their service. and the care taker even give the permission for them to go inside the house and make them waited for us at 2nd floor hall.they ruin our  vacation mood for that day. i explained to the friends driver what happened and we refuse to pay. i also informed that we have been promised that service suppose to be free.and they remain silent and after that they apologized and leave from the house.

on the good site, breakfast provided was halal and delicious.toilet was okay.

need to improve on the safety site,you cannot simply give permission to strangers to look and disturb your guest.

lesson learnt, choose hotel instead of guest house,unless u travel with a man

Very nice place and good price! The hosts were very nice and helped us a lot, like calling a taxi, and letting us leave ur bags there for a day after checking out. The breakfast was also good, and the location was very good with braga street pretty close by.

2 nights in Bandung

I stayed here for two nights following my friend's recommendation. What I like about this place are its strategic location, nice surroundings and its antique interior. If you wish for a place to stay in Bandung that is homy, tranquil yet strategic, I recommend Buminanienie.  I could go to Dago area (Bandung's famous street), Trunojoyo street by walking, not to mention other Bandung landmarks which are in the vicinity of this guesthouse. Since it is located in the residential area, I felt tranquil, especially when I spent my time reading books on its yard. 

I got a deluxe room that was quite spacious for me (since I traveled solo), the hot water worked well, the TV has a lot of channels, and the air conditioning functioned well. The guesthouse's interior is quite antique that gives additional value for this guesthouse. So if you come to Bandung and you are looking for a different atmosphere, you could definitely try this place.
