I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. Check in was about 9 PM. Only 5 mnts for cheked in process. Staffs were nice. I could sit at AW resto for late dinner, located at the same building. No elevator at this hotel, coz its only 4 level building 🤗. My superior room was at 3rd level. Not to spacious room, the king size bed was comfort enough. NO MAT inside the room. I got window room with main street view, a little bit noisy. Very standard bath room, hot water wasnt work. Only indonesian and local food for Breakfast menus. For me, Overall was good enough. The best thing is, its location.

It was a rendezvous visit after so many years to this city again.  No significant change with Peunayong area.  Still noisy and dusty, as always.  But everything you need is within walking distance!  If you are looking for a cheap and compact place to sleep, it can be one of the options.

Where do I start? Apart from the location, everything about this hotel feels wrong. In some rooms facing the back of the hotel is very uncomfortable because adjacent to the electric generator that sounds very annoying, less comfortable mattress, hot water in the bathroom sometimes not available at all times, television broadcasts are not feasible because most television programs are not available or blurred. Stay and help add this list.

Everything about this hotel, mostly, feels wrong.

Eventhough the location is great in the city where you can easily walk distance to grab coffee or food ( AW fast food restaurant is located at their lobby ) or even tourist places such as Baiturrahman Mosque, Tsunami Museum etc, the room is tiny without any window if you choose standard room and located side by side with Kids / game world...sooooo noisy from 11am - 10:30pm. They have window for deluxe and executive room only located on 2nd and 3rd floor. What I found when I went to bathroom was a worm ( ewww ! ). Given that I paid cheap for one night only before I fly back to Jakarta, i still tolerate, however I will not stay here if I have to stay more than 1 night.

Never book standard room in this hotel

The building is very old and dusty. There is no wifi, no lift, dirty bathroom, the AC is not working and the lamp was an almost-dead-flickering-lamp. The mosquitos are everywhere, although they provide the spray. I booked this hotel when I was on my fieldwork to Aceh and all the other hotel were full (they have government official meeting of some sort).

I arrived in the hotel at 11 PM and after spending an hour calling every hotel in Aceh, I was lucky enough to find a new hotel. I move out at 12 PM. That is how bad the hotel was.
