Bell House Boutique Homestay

Got the whole place rented at a reasonable price, thanks to good promotions. The homestay is right in the heart of fort kochi area. Good and clean rooms, with all amenities, kitchen with all basic tools in case u plan to cook, clean bathrooms.. huge back lawn. Cooperative staff and safe place. Recommended for family and solo travellers also. Worth the price!

This place is perfect. Cheap (1000 rupees for a double), immaculate, comfortable, quiet, in a super location (Burger street is parallel to Princess Street, the core of Fort Kochi) and the staff is very kind and easy going. 
The room has a nice bathroom with shower. There's free access to the kitchen and a nice little garden outside. 
1 minute walk to the tourist office, 5 mins to the chinese nets, 10 mins max to the best restaurants and shops. 
It only has 2 rooms, so when we found that one room was available we couldn't believe it. 
We've seen rooms for the same price that you people wouldn't believe.  

I strongly recommend it, it's a budget accommodation at much higher standards.

We stayed here in Feb 2015. Great location, nice and clean. We have recommended this to loads of travellers as it was so good. Wifi and fridge access provided. electricity did have a habit of tripping off but no major problems.

A hidden gem

Great location. Clean and safe

We were very grateful for the great deal we had to rent the property for 3 weeks 

However , the owner needs to think about doing some improvements!!!

Cleanliness is not great !
The kitchen cupboards need clearing / cleaning 

I had to wash plates / glasses before use

There is mound on-the ceiling of the front bedroom . Air con unit is old and not very effective , the walls are dirty

The outside garden needs attention 
The ‘roof garden ‘ is unusable and when it rains the kitchen floods 

Such a shame . 
Location is perfect 

TLC needed asap
