Blue Mountain

This place is very remote and in midst of nature. It is a good 2 hours drive from Ooty. And the route from Ooty to Kinnakoria is so picturesque, it will put Europe to shame.Just the place if you want to enjoy the Nilgiris without the chaos of Ooty. Untouched greenery around, chirping birds, clean air and star lit sky made this one of my most memorable stay. Staff and service is beyond excellent no request that can’t be met. Each room is a cottage with sitting room, bedroom and two restrooms on stilts in the midst of coffee plantation. It has a balcony overlooking the Nilgiris. View from the room is mind blowing we spotted a few deer from our window. Food though simple is low on masala and very tasty and best part served with smile. The only negative is that walk around the property is a lot is steps so not suitable for unfit people. To close ,a great location and a clean compact place with excellent staff at very affordable price.
