Awesome lodge and awesome staff super helpful the owner and the caretaker mr kuldeep is super helpful. The place is clean and super view of the mountains and you can hear the waterfall. They also have a farm of their own you can go and enjoy there… highly recommend

Super duper green lodge

December 13 to 20 I stayed at the property. Staff is courthouse, entire property is well maintained, under CCTV with remote control / view by owners. During winter electrical bedcover provided. It's worth place for solo traveller, for couple and family who wish to enjoy peace and nature.

The GREEN LODGE- sojourn in the Uttrakhand 👍

View is good but the place needs a lot of maintenance. The bathrooms were dirty,showers not working,Dirty towels,no Geyser in one bathroom. Dirty linen in bedrooms. Most unhigenic kitchen loads of insects everywhere. The place is big for a staff of 6 people. Very disappointed with my trip.

Loved everything about it, from people to place, i journey to remember, we will be forever visiting the place! One will find absolute peace, amazing view of hills, along with mesmerizing sounds of birds. A must visit place!

Very peaceful and natural environment

Hi Reader. To be honest with you if you are planning to have a peaceful and mesmerising experience in the lap of mother nature thn don't procrastinate. This is absolute choice with best supportive staff , delicious food and lush green trees. Plenty of birds who  sing songs for you. Owner is this property is kind enough and they provide you almost everything you need to have a pleasant stay. Only 1 hour from kathgodam and away from City life.A place to chill your own... 
Special thanks to Manager and cook for delicious recipes.. 
Undoubtedly I ll be visiting again soon. 


Amazing and mesmerising Place to have your own quality time with delicious food.

We stayed at The Green Lodge for a week last week and since we had the entire place to ourselves and also because of the very helpful staff we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Lodge is located away from the main road and faces the valley looking towards Saatal to the East. So there's peace and quiet with the first rays of the sun hitting most of the rooms first thing in the morning. There are a couple of terraces where you can practice 'pranayam' and yoga if you so wish. Or have your morning cuppa. 

If you're a birdwatcher you can expect to see some pretty birds like Black-lored tit, Crimson Sunbird, Cinerous tit and Lesser Yellownape (a colorful woodpecker) among other more common varieties. Every morning we were woken up at about 5 am by the beautiful song of the Blue Whistling Thrush just outside our window. You can go for walks along the road and indulge in more birdwatching or just stretch your legs. So take your binoculars along. 

The rooms are large with large bathrooms and running hot water. There are two dining areas one large one on the 2nd level and another smaller one on the 3rd level. There's also a kitchen with basic amenities, crockery and cutlery - so you can cook if you so wish. The staff is happy to assist you in any way. We cooked a few meals for ourselves. Staff can come up with some local food like 'mandwa ki roti' (finger millet flat bread) and local vegetables and daal. 

Although it rained most of the days that we were there we had a relaxing stay. I would say that Jeolikote is a hidden jewel in that part of Uttarakhand and would recommend it over Bhimtal and Nainital which are close by in any case.

Best place to stay and make your holiday perfect, providing spectacular nature views with wonderful greenery, great hospitality and food is all everyone can expect while being here. I started my day with a beautiful sunrise and set and morning bliss.

Jubilant feeling in such a peaceful environment. Perfect trip just coz of a great start in this Green Lodge, a place with an amazing scenic beauty. Great hospitality, delicious food (tea is my favorite)
