Hotel Park Palace

Considering the location, Hotel Park Palace is one of the best hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were also hygienic. Food was delicious. I loved the hospitality offered by the staff.Would surely stay here during my next visit to Lachung. 

Starting from great location to friendly and helpful staffs to excellent service everything in this hotel was commendable.Hotel was clean and the food,being a vegetarian hotel were nicely prepared.Will visit again in future.

What an experience i must say.Starting from clean and welcoming hotel to the beautiful nature accomodating us with massive and snowy white mountains it was a trip to remember.Staffs were very professional as well as helpful.Highly recommend.

Good hotel in good area.Very neat ,clean and spacious rooms. Uninterrupted electricity and water supply, that too in such a remote area. Staff was helping and polite. Simple, good ,hygienic, tasty food.

There have no  Electricity  for whole night, it was at 23th December. and there stuff are very poor quality, there dining food services is very dirty and also they maintain a bad manner with non polite stuff.  I suggest dont go for stay in this hotel when the temperature is below minuses degree.

Worst Service Ever in My Sikkim Trip

The room was very dirty with dirty bedsheets, pillow covers dirty curtains. We asked them to change the bed sheets and pillow covers, even after that the bed sheets were dirty, we managed some how as the stay was only for a night. There was no power supply in the hotel when we arrived, we asked them to switch on the generator, but then the manager was hell-bent on switching off the generator by 2030. There after there was no power and we had to manage with emergency lights. Even in the morning the hotel management switched on the generator for an hour, so when we asked them to extend it for 30 more mins as we were getting ready, they blatantly refused. So there was no hot water available in the morning. Even during the night we could not turn on the heater as there was no power supply.
The hotel staff was very rude and unprofessional. Execpt 2 people, rest of the staff can't even speak Hindi, which makes communication a big issue. 
The hotel is not even worth one star. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Totally useless hotel. I urge the MMT staff to review their rating of this hotel, because from the MMT app, the hotel looks very posh, but the reality is exact opposite.

Useless Hotel

Mmt booked our trip to North East. Mmt coordination is pathetic. Please don't opt for mmt packages. Park Palace Hotel has good rooms as well I guess but we got a tiny room with dirty curtains and flies all over. We had only one night there. So somehow adjusted. Food was also not great. 

Pathetic hotel booked via Make my trip travel package

We stayed for 2 nights on 15th & 16th May  2018. We had booked 3 
'Deluxe Valley view Rooms' through Makemytrip. From the moment we stepped in, it was disappointment all over. For starters, their Deluxe valley view room neither is deluxe nor has valley view.Its totally misleading and unethical misnomer. The rooms are tiny and nothing seems to work. The linen and drapes are old, stained and dirty. The attitude of the manager is pretty pathetic and lacks basic tenets of hospitality industry. But the staff, however untrained, works very hard to take care of you. The only other plus is the reasonably clean loo and hot water.
The dining are and kitchen is pathetically unhygienic. It hasn't been cleaned for decades I guess. I am serious. Had a hard time trying to shove a morsel in in that environment. Even after pointing it all out, they didn't seem to care at all as the demand is heavy in this season and remote place. The manager even hung up on me over the intercom while I was complaining.
The excuse offered is that it is remote and we should be thankful for whatever we are getting, but i have seen and stayed in enough remote areas that are perfectly clean and neat, to buy that argument. i cant understand how there are many reviews praising this property but i wouldnt recommend it to my enemy.
