Very easy check-in process. Host is an excellent communicator. Small refrigerator in room, plus coffee machine and electric water boiler. Shower worked well, lots of towels. Comfortable beds. Location is very central. Cups and glasses provided. Nice area for boots in main entryway. Free parking nearby.

Great place in Seyðisfjörður

We stayed one night. Absolutely great. The place where It IS located, the room, the detail of giving us some coffe, Milka and tea in the betroom, the easy check in and check out... Everything was fantastic. The views of the City to the lake or the church was great too.

This guest house was clean and in a great location. Unfortunately, we chose the wrong time of year to go. Not much was happening and the drive getting there met us with some very unfavorable weather making it difficult to get there. That being said, the people we encountered were very nice starting with, and most importantly, the owner Maggy and her husband. They were truly my saving grace in helping us out if the fjord.  The room was cozy and comfortable. The rec center nearby had excellent coffee.  Selection for breakfast was extremely limited when we went so plan accordingly.

Beautiful room and location but be careful of when you plan to go

lovely sea view with waterfall and lake outside, loved my time just chilling at the balcony with this beautiful view, sipping hot coffee. Such helpful host trying to give us best suggestions for things to see.

Amazing guesthouse with unbelievable views

Lovely town with a perfect location.  It's on the rainbow lane and to the end of it is the famous church.  To avoid crowd, go and take a photo early in the morning.

The view from the window is like from a watercolour painting.

Lovely hotel

Excellent guest house!  We arrived around 5pm, there is no reception.  There was an envelope with our room key waiting for us.  Our room was on second floor; there is no elevator.  Room was very clean and comfortable.  Location is great; center of town right on the rainbow street.  Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay in Seyðisfjörður!

One of the nicest coziest and quaint little towns secluded in the eastern fjords. Vid Lonid Guesthouse was a unique rehab of an old business building.  The owner Maggie did an excellent job with the help of friends to rebuild  and update the property. Very clean rooms with great private bathroom and new shower.  Just a great looking place on a rainbow street with a small town church anchoring one end, and some great tasty restaurants anchoring the other end. You will be lucky if you can book this place.

Beautiful little port town in the eastern fjords

We stayed one night at this wonderful guesthouse on the beautiful fjord lagoon. Room was very clean, comfortable, very inviting. Our room was on the first floor facing the lagoon, with a small balcony with seating! Upper floor rooms are probably a bit more private, since many people are walking around the building sightseeing and sound does travel in the building from other rooms.  There is no breakfast included with the room, but we found a place called "The Filling Station" to be delicious! and within walking distance.  The owner was great to work with!

Beautiful Fjord Stay

Super convenient location and parking.  Restaurants are withing a 30 second walk, and parking right across a small rainbow street.  Beautiful views outside and ability to see the aurora from your own balcony.  Cute town and very walkable.

Comfort and convenience.

We loved our stay at Vio Lonio Guesthouse! The guesthouse is very clean and the decor is stylish and modern. We had a room with a little balcony looking out to the water and mountains, which was breathtaking. The guesthouse is in a great location, right next to the Rainbow Road and a cosy restaurant with delicious food called El Grillo. The check in was very straightforward and flexible. We would definitely recommend!
