Spacious studio cabin. Comfy beds with quality linen, small en suite- good shower. Kitchen had oven as well as hob, microwave and toaster. Large supermarket close by. The 'old town' ( historic buildings relocated) is interesting for a stroll and has good food options ( beer & burger in food hall was tasty). Visited heritage museum at Eyrarbakki which was a hidden gem and used as base for golden circle.

Last night we stayed at Thoristun in Sellfoss. It is a nice and cozy place to stay and in the cottage we found a little notebook where you can write about your sleepover and your Iceland experience. A really nice idea, but we forgot to bring a pen. Sorry for that, hence this review online! 

I enjoyed reading all the good tips everyone shared and to read that people from all over the world are positive to stay here; so are we! 

About the cottage itself; there is everything you need. The kitchen provides the equipment you need to cook any meal you want (including a fridge to keep things fresh). The bathroom has a underfloor heating; so luxurious! The beds are comfortable and you can park your car nearby

We really liked the apartment in selfoss. It was super cozy and sweet.
The shower could use a renovation but besides that it was awesome ! 
I would recommend to stay there ! The only thing what I would recommend is, that someone greets you when you check in. No one was there 

Just back from staying for 3 nights at these apartments. Accommodation is lovely,, well fitted out and spotless. Good central location but very quiet. Supermarket nearby - useful as apartment has a fridge and oven but no microwave. Restaurants are very nearby

We really love this apartment, it’s a perfect location to catch the northern light in Selfoss, you can wait at the front of apartment and get inside if feeling too cold. You can cook simple meals for dinner or breakfast also.

We stayed for 4 nights in this very nice apartment greatly located for our trips in the South.
The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean, the bed was comfortable.
We recommend this apartment that had all kitchen equipments and friendly owners !

This was the perfect place to stop over for the night. They emailed us ahead of time so we knew how to get there and what to expect, everything was prepared upon our arrival and the location, by the church, was incredibly tranquil.

The accommodations themselves were clean, modern, and very cozy. There is a kitchen area so you can prepare food which was quite nice. My favorite touch was definitely the heated floor in the bathroom which was such a godsend after a long day of being outside and traveling. I really enjoyed reading the messages the other travelers had left in the guest book and this place felt so special. 

This is the hotel I have the warmest memories of from our trip, and it was a wonderful trip. There is parking on site, there is also a nice deck area you can enjoy, and our beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I pass back through on my next trip.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was an ideal base for visiting places. We hired a little car and it was fine. The kitchenette was really handy, plus it is walking distance from the supermarket and a few restaurants. The apartment was warm and clean and spacious. The only setback was the house in front of the apartment meant that, if the northern lights had appeared, our view would have been very limited. But it was great and we had an amazing time.
