This is a large custom-built home located outside of Reykjavik. One wing is the guest house with its own entrance. There are views of the water, but the whole property is rural farmland. There are several Icelandic horses kept on the property, so you can get an up-close view of these miniature marvels. We stayed here one night while visiting Reykjavik in November 2016. The room was clean, bright and about average size for Europe. Our hostess was friendly and gave us good advice about the local attractions. Overall, a good way to stay in an out-of-the-way quality accommodation while still close to the city.
