Hotel Lido

I booked this hotel on Booking because it was the cheepest. We didn't really wanted something luxorious and it was ok because we only needed one night. Even though they say the check-in is at 14:00, we arrived there ar 12:30 and the room was ready for us. Very pleased beacause the reception boy talked English (very rare in Hungary). He was also very nice to explain us evrithing we asked (where the cave bath is, were to eat). The room was small but had a big bathroom. Not the most modern room, but we were there only to sleep that night. The air inside the room was very hot and dry. During the night we had trouble sleepeng because of the heat and also because a coach full of people checked-in at about 00:00 and they were all talking really loud, laughing and screeming on the stairs on their way to their rooms (well, it's not the hotel's fault that those people were rude). In the morning, the breakfast was good. The man cleaning the tables had a problem with me because I poured milk from a big vase (probably it was there for the cereals, but the vase was next tot the coffe) into my coffe and said something, very angry, to me in hungarian. Mister, let me tell you something: i paid for my room and the breakfast was included into that price, that means I also paid for that milk. I happen to like to drink my coffe with a lot of milk. But I also work in Radiology and I HAVE to drink at least 500 ml of milk evry day (but I only used maximum 100 ml for the coffe). That was very rude!!!! The breakfest was a free boufet, and if I had wanted to drink all the milk in the room, that man should't have to have a problem with that!!! It was a all-you-can-eat/drink-breakfast!!!! So I am very upset because of the milk incident. But the hotel is ok if you need a cheap place to sleep.
