Best hostel I stayed in so far. This hostel is the loveliest place for travelling, I met the best people around there. The staff creates such a great atmosphere to get to know new people and a really familiar one too. It‘s just like home. The location is just great, you can reach everything by foot and you always cross the basilica while comming home, so good. A great view out of the livingroom oriel window too. Sometimes you can catch the seat in front of it and have a read with some of the free coffee or tea. Nearly everything is selfmade. Free activities nearly every night, otherwise theres definitely a group of random people you can spent the evening/ night with. Or just have a peaceful rest. Had no problem with the cleaniness at all. Would definitely recommend!

This hostel is by far the best I have ever stayed at! The atmosphere is so cozy, it makes you feel at home and comfortable right away. The location is just perfekt. I only had to use public transportation once. Otherwise I could walk everywhere and get to experience the beautiful city even more. 
There are many young and interesting travelers here that come from all over the world. Getting to know everyone in this environment is really easy because everyone just sits in the living room talking or you can meet them during one of the daily evening activities that the hostel provides. I think, as a solo traveler, that is especially important. 
And if that wouldn’t be enough, the beds are comfortable and everything is clean. 
I would really recommend this hostel!

Amazing!!

I love Budapest and have visited several times; always staying in a different hostel but never finding one I would go back to...until now. Lazy Muggle has the perfect balance between being a sociable hostel but not a full on party hostel. It's a great place to meet people as it has a good common room and the volunteers organise pub crawls so people can make new friends and enjoy the awesome ruin bars of Budapest. I have to give a shout out to Emma who was a brilliant leader and took us to the best places. If I come back to Budapest (and I usually do), I'll be staying here again.

Favourite Budapest Hostel

The staff really make the effort to talk and make you feel welcome, plus do some really cool visits like the sunset walk which I would highly recommend. Shout out to Brigette and beach angel showing us such a good time.

Most inviting hostel in Budapest

Very cute hostel. clean and quiet. friendly staff. AMAZING location! walking distance from everything you need. Super easy to meet people as they have a nice large living room area (with netflix!) kitchen was nice to have to. Would recommend 10/10:)

Lovely, cozy hostel!

Nice, clean rooms and bathrooms, home-like atmosphere and the staff is so friendly that you will want to be friends with then and invite them to your house. 10/10 would book again. They are in a residential building so it's quiet at night, which is good if you like to sleep at night. I recomend the pub crawl they offer. It's a great way to meet people and have fun for very cheap. Be prepared to walk though...

Great experience!

I stayed 2 nights in this hostel and I don't regret it. All the staff was super nice and recommended me a lot of good things to do in Budapest. The bad was super comfortable hahaha, if you're going to Budapest don't worry cause in this hostel you will be just fine and u will count with very helpful people :) I highly recommend.

Amazing hostel

This place is fab, we stayed in the 8 bed dorm which has nice decor, v spacious. The atmosphere is very relaxed and staff are lovely and happy to chat and give suggestions... It would definitely be a good place to come if you were travelling alone -very easy to meet people- and it is incredibly central, on a nice buzzy street with plenty of food places. If you are there on a Friday night... go on the boat trip! It was one of the highlights of our time in Budapest

Loved it here!

This was our second stay at the Hostel and we were pleasantly suprised about the changes. The first time was great, this time even better. More room for your clothes, shoe racks, slightly better decorations. The staff was friendly and helpful - as usual. I would definetly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a great stay in Budapest!

Awesome Crew, Nice Rooms!

Nothing bad to say about this hostel. It is located very near the basilica (2 min walk) and even nearer to some really cool restaurants and bars. It also has a nice common area where travelers can all gather to have a meal/drink/chat, which I definitely made use of. The staff here were extremely friendly and had many insightful tips on travelling around the city. I gotta give a shout out to Cat, a volunteer who works there, who went out of her way to make our stay as fun and comfortable as she could. Definitely highly recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Budapest, especially solo travelers.
