The staff is very welcoming, ready to serve you and help you find your way around, extremely polite and professional. The only problem I had was with the beds though, my back really hurt on that mattress, other than that everything else was wonderful and I would come back without a second thought! 

the hotel is 5 meters from the beach. From the cafeteria you have a wonderful view. The rooms were not lux but they were more than acceptable. The stuff was very kind. The swimming pool is ok. The breakfast was rich with a lot of choises. In the main building there is wifi access free of charge. Everything was ok but with the great price of 29 euros per person for two nights with HB onar hotel is just PERFECT.  I will visit it again.

I had a 4 days stay at Onarbeginning of  Jan.2012. We bought through this through  an internet offer .At 40 eur per room , per night, FB accomodation, it was really a "special offer". Though,  I do not  how are the prices during summer period.

There was a good offer on the internet for this hotel, so I booked 3 rooms on a full board basis in late November for two days.Two kids under 6 stay for free, but when they told me that they have to share the extra bed...as all the families, all time long...I didn't know how to react. I told them what we were there before and only then she agreed to put a baby cot in the room!
When we arrived there was no baby cot in the room but after a while they brought one.
The weather was lovely, as in summer time, so we went for a walk and only by lunch time we realized what was about to happen!
The restaurant was close for all, except for some people participating in a meeting! There was no place for us to have lunch but in the cafeteria, which was full of smoke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
Half hour after we ordered, two tiny salads arrived along with the beverages- which of course  I had to pay for. So, 3 couples with two kids each, aged 1-8 plus two grandmothers had to share two salads...An hour later the girl come with anything but the food we've ordered!!! We clearly understood that those portions were leftovers from the meeting! When I complained about it, the manager was worried about whether the people from the meeting would hear me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had to wait for another 2 hours for something 'on the house' to come...actually nothing!
When we decided to go upstairs in a small-and only- sitting area that the hotel provides we were told that it was just for the people from that meeting.... So we had to 'smoke' in the cafeteria, of to go elsewhere...
At dinner time, we returned to the cafeteria but there were no places available because of a football match! So, we sat in the restaurant asking to be served there. The truth was that we went there just to order. We agreed to leave everything on the table and leave...BUT we had the greatest dinner ever! Although we were minus 4, they brought us a hugeeeee salad and the portions were bid and tasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We've been served by the chef himself! We understood that he had something else to do so he was unprepared for us to have lunch there!
They've totally forgotten of us! So, 'till that moment the people from the meeting were those who had taken everything from us.... but because of them we had a wonderful dinner!
By 23.00 the cafeteria was closed and there was no place for us to sit and have a drink!
The next morning we had a poor breakfast and we had to ask even for bread to be brought.
I will not go back there ever again...
What a pity...

Never again. We stayed off-season but this is not a reason to offer terrible accomodation. Rooms were extremely cold as theonly heating source was the aircinditioning which couldnt handle the winter temperature. In the first room the heating was not working at all. Rooms very not clean at checkin-very much dust. The rooms were not cleaned during the whole 3 nights stay, we had to ask for clean towels at the reception. Nobody seemed to care. Awfull poor breakfast. Never again, please stay away from this hotel even during season as ignorance in service cannot be changed between seasons.
