We've stayed here twice this year, for a week in July and then for two weeks right at the end of the season. We travelled with our 18 month old Grandaughter and used one of the larger apartments here so we could easily fit in a travel cot. We had an enormous balcony overlooking (virtually on top of!) Loutraki harbour with stunning views of the sunset over Skiathos. Like a lot of hotels and tavernas on Skopelos, it's locally owned and operated and you're likely to find that Nikolas will put some of the garden produce in the room during your stay. Tomatoes with real taste! We ended up eating in the apartment most evenings, where there was a simple kitchenette, soaking up the sunset on the balcony. You can get plusher places, but I doubt you'll get friendlier ones. We love the place.
