It deserves the 5 stars as a rating for many reasons. The owner was very kind to us and she responded to our calls rapidly. We chose liofoto 3 years ago for our staying in Skopelos. The prices was reasonable and the apartments were very clean and full equipped. We really enjoyed our staying and we would choose it again for sure. 

Holidays in Skopelos 

I travelled with my sister and this was our first vacation at the island of Skopelos. We chose Liofoto for our stay, since it is in the middle of the distance between Skopelos town and Stafylos which is the closest beach at Skopelos town. The rooms were very spacious, clean and nicely furnished, with everything that someone may need either for a short or a long stay.
The room we stayed was on top of the hill, and it had a nice view, with a large balcony where we relaxed after a day at the beach. The owners are very friendly and always there to help if anything happens. Overall, we would choose it again for our stay in Skopelos and would highly recommend it to anyone who will be visiting the island.

nice stay at Liofoto

Very nice studios, near the town, very clean and very good price! I fully recommend it! The owners are really friendly and helpful. They change the towels every other day and the bed sheets on the third day which is really good since it's not a hotel. There is also a small swimming pool and parking area. Excellent choice!

Super nice

It is the second year in a row that we stayed at Liofoto studios. We are very satisfied with the quality of the accommodation. Apartments are cleaned daily, bedsheets and towels are changed very often.
It is possible to walk to downtown Skopelos from the property. However, we would recommend renting a car or a scooter to get around the island.
The owners are adorable, always willing to help and suggest hidden spots on the island. We hope to come back next year!

Second stay at Liofoto studios and we will be back

Stayed in a typical 3 Star spacious Greek studio with a nice balcony - Great Value!  Excellent supermarket almost opposite.  It is a bit of a walk (25 mins) into town to cafes/restaurants etc. and uphill back  - a taxi is about 5/6 Euros.  Single bicycle provided in need of maintenance, plus no safety helmet!  Swimming pool well kept but a bit small for me.  Owner very friendly and helpful, would stay there again.

Value Comfortable Accommodation - Out of Town

We enjoyed our stay at Liofoto. Within 2 minutes walk there’s a supermarket and petrol station across the road. 

Liofoto is a 15 minute walk into skopelos town, so I wouldn’t book here if you aren’t very mobile. But it was perfect for us! Walking into town there’s a larger supermarket on the way too.

We booked an apartment but had 1 night in a studio as there was a slight issue with room bookings, but we changed rooms the next day no problem. I would say to book the apartments just to give yourself a little more space! 

The lady who greeted us and also serviced our room was lovely. I don’t know her name, but she has long black hair and was very helpful. 

To improve; as it’s self catering, a little more kitchen utensils would be wonderful. Sharp knives, chopping board, for those who do like to stay in and cook. The pool area could do with another parasol or 2.

A last minute break to Skopelos

This hotel was nice. It is at a 20 minutes walking distance from Skopelos Town, which is very doable during the day. During the night, we often took a taxi (5 euros from Skopelos Town) because the walk is next to a busy road, which is a bit scary when it is dark. Most of the rooms are up the hill, so this hotel might not be very well suited for people who have difficulties walking. The rooms are cozy and nicely furnished, they come with a small kitchen that has a microwave and a small stove. The view from the balcony is magnificent, we liked it very much to have breakfast or lunch there. The airco is free, and the hotel does have 2 WiFi networks, although we found those to have very slow or no Internet. The pool is big enough since the hotel does not have many rooms, and has a beautiful view of the hills as well. What we thought was a bit disappointing is that there is no possibility of having a drink or a small snack in the hotel. There is a bar, but there is never someone to serve beverages/food. Also, the parasols at the pool are not resistant to the wind, so I would advice to bring your own if you like to have some shade.

Nice hotel

Quiet place, very close to the city, with good owners, good wifi signal and great TV. But there was a colorful confusion in the room. White walls and furnishings in various shades of brown, green and gray. The room was triple and the free space was minimal. Also the kitchen area was very tight.
