We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which we really recommend. It is on the first floor and has a big terrace overlooking the street which gets the sun through the day. We didn’t hear any noise from other apartments and the street is pretty quiet. The apartment is well equipped and has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. It is kept spotlessly clean and is serviced every day. Big thanks to Claudia. The owner, Elias, is super helpful and hospitable. He welcomed us and spent lots of time telling us about all the best things to do on Serifos, including renting a car to get to the old mines at Mega Livadi. A fascinating place with a couple of very traditional restaurants right next to the beach. We had a great lunch at the Cyclops, including a traditional egg plant dish called Imam, which was amazing. If you drive around the island, watch out for the bee-eaters on the wires - there were loads of them in May. The walk to or from Chora is a good one and there is bus service on weekdays. Nice cafe in the Town Hall Square there - the one with blue tables. The walk from Chora to Kallitsos is challenging. It is overgrown with prickly vegetation and the route is not easy to follow in places. If you do it, take the inconspicuous descending trail to the right just before the junkyard.

My friends and I visited the Astarti apartments in early July 2021 and we will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone wishing to visit Serifos.

The rooms were very spacious, clean, and with a private kitchen and balcony.

The owner, Ilias, warmly welcomed us and provided us with all the necessary information about the island (beaches, restaurants etc).

Excellent stay

Ilias, picked us up from the port and showed us all the locations on the island which were worth a visit. Hired a car for a couple of days as buses were restricted. Beautiful clear blue waters great view from our balcony. Apartment was cleaned daily and hot water available all the time.  Shops etc nearby. Great for strolling around and variety of restaurants even although end of season. You could sit literally at the water's edge and have a drnk or coffee whilst reading your book. Thanks, Ilias, for everything!!

Ideal lazy holiday location!

We were picked up at the port and given an overview of the island by the owner. The apartment was clean, modern and spacious. It was adequately equipped and although the balcony was on the small side it was large enough for 2, the views across the bay made up for the size! Livadakia beach, which we found to be excellent, is only a few minutes walk down the side street. Restaurants and shops are also only a few minutes walk. The apartment is in a peaceful location. Would have no hesitation in returning.

Ideal location!

We stayed at Astarti for 10 days and had a fabulous time. The apartment was spacious for a 1 bed, always clean, well equipped and a brilliant location. You are literally 2 minutes walk from Livadakia Beach which is lovely, and when we were there, not too crowded. It's quite a sheltered beach so is a good place to be when the winds are up. 
The town was only a 2 minute walk in the opposite direction which was very handy too. 
Ilias was a great host- picked us up from the port and dropped us back. He was always on hand to answer any questions if needed but managed to make you feel like he wasn't 'too' around so you had your privacy. 
All in all we had a fabulous time and would definitely return. Thank you!

Great apartment with the perfect location!

We recently stayed at the Astarti on our first trip in Serifos. Having done plenty of research, this quaint, homy apartments was my choice. It did not disappoint! Ilias, the owner of that great place, greeted us and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We had two rooms, and each was perfectly appointed. The feeling of this place gave us memories for a lifetime. Lastly, the location is absolutely perfect. The Astarti is two steps from the Livadi (port), giving us the luxury of evening walks near the sea and quick access to everything needed. We loved it so much that we are already talking about a return trip. This is an exceptional and unique homy apartments that is full of character! Thank you Ilias and thank you Serifos... see you soon!

Well kept studios well located 2mn away from the beach and shops. Kitchen is very small but equipped with the minimum. Small efforts in decoration. Terrasses in the sun.The owner is very friendly and we would go back instantly if we could.
