A exquisitely polite  warmly welcoming landlady and a hotel owner Mrs Evi provided us immediate shelter on a night hotel swap !

Quiet, even though on the central road crossing Sarti, remains discrete, with a small swimming pool ideal for families and couples.

Spotlessly clean, tidy with good A/Cs facilities, very good bedsits.

This is the first night's impression; will come back for a further review tomorrow

All the stuff was kind and helpful. Also there is a very nice garden with a swimming pool. Everything was great.

I stayed at the hotel in a very difficult time for Halkidiki, which was suffering from extreme weather phenomena!  The uniqueness of the hotel was unique!  So is their hospitality.  From my stay there, I will not keep either the comfort of the rooms or my bath in the pool, not the amazing food....What I will definitely keep is the hospitality, love and passion of these people for their work!

Very nice place! I am so pleased from my vacation here in vamvinis hotel! people workin here are very very helpful and always willing to find the good out of the bad situation. I witnessed the catastrophic windstorm and the owners did their best to recover these damages always with a smile on their faces! so glad I met the greek hospitality on its finest! see you again my beautiful Sarti and Vamvinis hotel !! 😘

The rooms were large (with kitchenette) - it was somehwat clean; there were mosquito nets on the windows and the terrace doors; there was also an anti-mosquito device to plug into the power net (thanks for thinking about it! :) Also, the fridge was working even after we left the room and took the key with us (which switches off the electricity). There were basic kitchen things - forks, knives, spoons, plates, cups for coffee and water...

There were a few bad things,too though - the fridge was very old and making a constant squeaking noise along with a water-dripping noise (very annoying and disturbing during the night). We were on the 3rd floor and for 4 days, we did not have internet - which was very very inconvenient for us. The shower isn't convenient either - low water pressure, inconsistent warm water, low placed (and broken) shower-holder on the wall, etc. Be ware - the power outlets are very small; the only place where we could plug a laptop charger was the same outlet where we could plug the stove... The others were simply too thin (good for e.g. phone charger but nothing else). No coffee machine or toaster.

somewhat good accommodation for short summer break

We stayed here for 5 nights and basically enjoyed our stay and would return if in the area. We were placed on the first floor at the rear of the hotel with not much of a view, well, we could see the main road which, although close was not intrusive, the hotel is built like a u shape and therefore everyone was looking at everyone else, so complete privacy was impossible on the balcony, everyone's conversations could be heard without the need of an earpiece! Our double bed was quite uncomfortable leaving us with an amount of backache in the morning. Our toilet bin was only emptied once in our stay not very hygienic, the kitchen was very basically equipped although adequate for our needs, hot water became non existent at times and cold showers were there for all to shiver under.  The room was really quite spacious and even had an additional single bed which was useful for unpacking and re packing the cases. The small swimming pool looked inviting but we didn't use it.
A major plus was the managers who were so pleasant in checking in and out whilst also sorting out any minor problems we had, the bar area was a nice place to relax in.

Cheap and cheerful hotel

Me and my husband were here in September. We stayed for only 2 days. On the outside hotel looks great, there's a beautiful yard and garden and also an outdoor pool, but on the inside it was a different story. It was not that horrible but still... we heard that some rooms are renovated but clearly our room was not. The kitchen was really outdated and didin't look like it has been cleaned very well for some time, fridge was really old and it was making loud noises. The bathroom was smelly and when we showered the water was coming back through the bathroom drainage, also there was sand all over the corners of the shower. The hotel has about 3-4 WiFi hotspots but none of them works well or at all. We really liked the terrasse with nice wooden chairs and table, untill morning, when people started pulling them on the floor and making noise which could be heard everywhere. Sound isolation is really bad, you can hear everything when people are talking or going down the stairs, so we had almost no sleep. There are a lot of bugs around the hotel in the evening so you must go in and out of your room really quickly if you don't want to see mosquito bites. We went to another hotel with the same price and it was much better, even though we didn't have a pool at least we got to sleep better in a cleaner and neater space.
