Gratsias Luxury Apartments

A hidden gem of a place located in quiet residential Stelida area which is a very short drive from the airport. Free backyard parking was very helpful, as you need a car to drive around and to/from Naxos sightseeing. The place was spotless-clean. We really enjoyed the modern comfort of the space while relaxing after each day’s adventures. There were maps and different pamphlets for bus, boat and walking tours, at the apartment. A well equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare our own meals whenever we felt like staying in. Downtown Naxos (Hora) and the beach are within 5-10 min drive, there is also a bus from Hora to the beach. Provisioning is best at Koutoulieris or Alphavita grocery 5 min drive. Great restaurants to recommend: Giannoulis by Prokopi beach and Tohu bar by Plaka beach with excellent vegan food selection; in downtown Hora we would recommend Meze2 and Cappricio. For pizza, it would definitely be Su e Giu restaurant. Visiting the Castro, Portara during the sunset and doing the guided bus tour of the island are a must. Maria, the host, was very responsive to our questions and super helpful providing local information and tips. We give Maria and Gratsia Luxury apartment a high recommendation.
