Excellent breakfast with lots of homemade stuff.
Ver nice and competent team.
Modern and clean rooms.
We loved it there!
Can recommend it to everyone who stays in Milos for some period of time.
A beach is also in walking distance and all restaurants and shops are just outside of the hotel.

An excellent property to stay and very hospitable. In the centre of everything buses taxis etc. The owner Katerina very pleasant the staff at the breakfast Sophie was very helpful and polite. Evthimia at reception was great. The breakfast was exceptional mostly home made and local produce. The room was quaint but air con was too cold. The bathroom is a little too small.

Spent two nights at the Portiani mid-September and it proved to be the perfect spot for our short stay on Milos. We had a seaview room on the top floor with a lovely shared balcony. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern and spacious. Breakfasts were more than we ever expected - a fabulous buffet with local pies, cakes, fruit, eggs - everything you could imagine, and dear Sophia made certain everyone was well cared for. The ladies at the front desk were also very warm and welcoming, providing us with advice regarding getting to Sarakiniko, etc. There is a bus stop practically outside the door and Milos has a good bus system to shuttle you to other areas on the island. Also, being at the port you are close to many boats for excursions. We selected the Thalissitra and it was a highlight of our two week trip. We highly recommend the Portiani Hotel if you’re looking for a l convenient location in the port, a warm reception, clean updated room, and views of the port. The bed is gorgeous, I slept like a princess, Nice litle balcony, fridge, friendly staff, beach towel to land and a beach bag, an exeptional breakfast if your in for sweets and traditional greek cousine. Far from a chain hotel!! They keept my luggage after check out as I waited for the ferry.

A perfect traditional hotel in the most central location one could ask for in Adamas port of Milos! The hotel is clean, the rooms are wonderfully refurnished and the staff is very polite and friendly. The most pleasant surprise was the breakfast which was the best we have ever had. What makes the breakfast so perfect is the variety in traditional pies and pastries. From spinach pies to mince meat pies and watermelon pies (the island’s delicacy). We would strongly recommend Portiani hotel!

We stayed at Portiani  Hotel for 3 weeks. It felt like home.  It was most enjoyable. Very friendly atmosphere, very good location.  Comfortable room, lovely breakfast. Thank you to Katerina, Sophia and Efthymia 🥰

We used the Portiani as our base for several days in Milos and it was perfect. The staff was very helpful as we asked for advice on places to eat and locations on the island. The rooms were well priced and clean.

The hotel staffs are friendly. They opened door 6:00 o'clock for me early morning check in and another time 12:00 midnight check in.Because the ferry come to Milos very early and very late. The room is super comfort and big size. The see view from Balkan is beautiful. The ferry port is 3 minutes far from hotel by foot. The breakfast is delicious and lots of choice. I will stay this hotel again when I visit Milos.

Very nice hotel! It is very well located: close to the port, restaurants and shops. 
The rooms were renewed recently and are very comfortable. They are equipped with a fridge and a kettle.

We came for a rest of our own summer season in end of November  2019, to visit the island of Milos with incredible beaches and people.
We found a very: central of all, cosy, friendly and clean Hotel for all our needs. Katharina the owner and her team, have fulfilled all our extra wishes, including a change to a softer mattress. You saved my back, thanks!
