Excellent hotel!! Super friendly staff, very clean room, 3min walk to port, bakery and supermarket and beach, 10min bus ride to the Main Street. You get what you pay for, comfortable beds and ok WiFi. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to ios, it’s perfect.

Best hotel on the island

This hotel is family run. Basic rooms, fantastic location near the port and the famous steps to and from the village. A kettle and coffee, no milk but the owner was happy to offer his own. A great hotel for island hoppers. Very reasonably priced. It was perfect for our one night stay to the wonderful island is Ios 

Very friendly 

Excessive lack of professionalism!

Firstly, the owners have to understand that they run a hotel, they don't have visitors in their home.
Let's count some of their fouls:

1. When people sleep, you don't knock them twice in order to clean the room. 
About 1pm, we were still sleeping. The room service knocks. We explain that we want to sleep. After 5min., the owner knocks again in order to learn when we are going to leave the room. When people sleep in a hotel, you let them sleep!

2. I returned at my room around 8am. My friend returned 6am. During the next day, we had a friendly talk with the owner, and she asked, how did it come and we went to the room separately !!!!
Is this Big-Brother or what?

3. Someone made lots of noise in the hotel. The owner tried to find out more about it and knocked the door around 2am. In this time, we had a guest-friend in our room in order to go out together. So, the owner asks the weirdest thing I've ever heard in a hotel. "Who is that guy?"

Really, you just feel uncomfortable the whole time with the annoying owners. 
They are not professionals !!

4. We need some HOT WATER !!
When you pay 280euros for 4 nights, it's a demand the abundance of hot water. Half of these days (2/4 nights), we had no hot water.

5.Additionally, the room is extremely simple.
Invest a little on this place, 80s is in the past . New TVs are not expensive, Telephone in the room is necessary etc.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST !!
The owner tried to explain his behavior, saying us that a couple from Italy in the hotel had a lot of complaints , and he was afraid of a bad review on the internet.

Well, you never know who writes a review on the internet, so please be careful

P.S. The view is great, the only advantage

EXTREME LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM

This is an excellent small hotel in Ios island. First of all it's location, one of the best in the island, near the port, but in a higher level with perfect balconies to enjoy the sea view and the sunset. There is a bus station just in front of the hotel to move everywhere in the island. The rooms are perfectly clean and very comfortable. There is a small refrigarator in the room and of course there is an a/c. The people in the hotel (Dimitra, Nikos) are too nice, excellent. The price is too logical too, price/perfomance ratio is 10/10.

Absolutely recommended

Hotel is located 5-10 min walk from the port up the hill. The bus stop for Chora is just in front of the hotel door. The owners picked us at the port on arrival and took us to the port on departure. They are very nice and helpful. Rooms are very basic, with a big terace where you can eat, drink... The cleaning is spotless, wifi is weak. Every room has a fridge and aircon. Simple and nice stay. I would recommend to anybody.
