Great location very near the beautiful waterfalls and adjoining park. The hotel is a really lovely clean and attractive place, with cosy inside and outside areas. We were very impressed with the welcome and friendly service. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was superb

Exceeded expectations

This hotel is ideally placed very near the waterfalls.  It is very cosy.  The staff are friendly and welcoming, there are just a few rooms but they are well appointed. For breakfast we were told we could have anything from the menu and as we all opted for fruit and yoghurt the lady offered to bring us one large fruit platter to share.  It was delicious with the Greek yoghurt and honey and then we each had a special omelette. This filled us up until mid afternoon.  Overall an ideal location and comfortable stay.

Small comfortable hotel ideally situated for the waterfalls.

There are three similar traditional hotels in the old town of Edessa. I chose randomly one of them and I was not disappointed at all.
 The location, the building, the decoration all were extremely atmospheric.
 The location is really central, you can walk to the center of the town and to the waterfalls too.
 The "lobby" area was very tasteful decorated. Since it was just before Christmas, the decoration was analogous. The room was not very bid but nice and functional. The only disadvantage was the bathroom which was very small and a little bit uncomfortable.
 The breakfast was handmade, prepared at the same time and with lots of choices.
 The girls at the reception area were very friendly and helpful.

Experience the local tradition

This hotel is brilliantly located in the old part of Edessa (Vorafi) and only three minutes from the famous waterfall. We had a wonderful room with a super view down onto a stream. The staff were strikingly friendly and helpful ( special mention for Dimitra). The breakfast was delicious and as large as you wanted it to be. We ate every morning in the charming courtyard at the back of the hotel. You can also eat lunch there (super Greek salad). Every evening we went to eat at the delicious and very reasonably priced Ousies restaurant, no more than a two-minute walk from the hotel. Warmly recommended.

Superb stay

Charming traditional hotel located very close the the waterfalls in Edessa. Very clean and well run, excellent staff who were friendly and helpful.  We had breakfast inside but there is a nice outdoor area and the hotel offers a wonderful breakfast menu to choose from and which they are very generous with.

Magical location. 2 minutes walk from the waterfalls, near the old part of the town. under the trees. Rich breakfast. Polite and hepful staff. Great food nearby the hotel. Very clean Traditional rooms

Perfect stay

Stayed for 2 nights and had breakfast one day. Immediately taken care of at the desk and helped with where to park, where to go around town, and shown to our room. Even got a map and guidance of where to go in the beautiful town and surrounding areas. Amazing hospitality. Tasty Greek breakfast and a table was made reserved for us without us knowing. Very hospitable and the rooms were comfortable and warm (we came in winter).

Must stay here

Hagiati is the warmest, friendliest and most welcoming guesthouse we have stayed at in Greece. All the staff are so helpful and the location is excellent! Beautiful bedrooms and lavish breakfasts! We would definitely come back again. We got lots of recommendations about how best to view the city from the reception and the route walking down to the ancient Loggos site. The buildings have a lovely traditional feel and are very comfortable with a lovely courtyard.

Loveliest Guesthouse in Edessa

We came to visit the waterfalls and stayed in this beautiful oldy worldy hotel. It was lovely and warm and very clean. The staff were amazing, very attentive and helped us with all of our questions about the hotel and the area. The breakfast was out of this world, the menu was huge and we were able to order anything and everything. The location is in the old town area and it is literally a short walk to the waterfalls and the town. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Traditional Building

Hagiati Traditional Hotel is located perfectly upon a vivid spring and very close to the beautiful waterfall(s) which lovely Edessa is famous of.
We love a lot the design of the hotel and it looks that every detail of it was chosen attentively and with respect to tradition. However, the curtain of the shower stall in the room's bathroom 'knew' better days and it looks as an improvisation.
Breakfast is Hugh however the range of the dishes is limited: kinds of pasteries and breads and less vegetables.  
Helpful and attentive charming Vaya at the reception and breakfast made our stay in Hagiati and Edessa and surroundings an unforgettable vacation.
