Villa Nardi - Residenza D'Epoca
We arrived and could not believe our luck . The drive into a beautiful little park and we where greeted with such warmth that we felt instantly at home . 
Our beautiful room was very clean and spacious. 
The night was quiet  and we had every morning our breakfast,  that did not miss anything, in the most beautiful setting outside the Villa . You can reach the town Center in a short walk. Best place I ever stayed in Florence and will be back .

The Villa with a view

I would highly recommend this place for the budget traveler. It's ideally located right close to all major sights in the center of the city, is easy to access via public transit, and is walking distance from the main train station. One major downfall is that there is no reception, so if you have any questions or concerns, or you room key stops working, you're out of luck. There is a bar on the corner of the street that you have to go to in order to pick up your key - but they kindly informed me that they 'aren't a reception' when I was having trouble with my key. To check in, they telephoned someone who told them which key to give me. They advertise free wifi online, however, because there is no reception we were never given a password. With that being said, we felt safe, the room was very clean, comfortable and a decent size, and you're sort of left to your own devices, which may appeal to some, but not others.

Recommended for the Budget Traveler

the hotel/appartments are centrally located, the single room was nice, with small balcony, clean room, with small kitchen. everything you need for short stay. should not complain. but as there was a holiday at the day of arrival, nobody was at the reception, so i had to call and they explained in which bar i get the key. as i left early and reception did not work, i did not know where to leave the key... really not good organised. even if they had free Wifi, as i never got in contact with receprion, i never could use the service. The hotel is nice, but the service was a bit confusing.

A bigger hotel room with a (hidden) kitchen, all rooms with balcony, small bathroom, room clean, whole building a litte "done" but super centrally located just 10 Minutes walking to Marienplatz and 2 Minutes to Sendlinger Tor. Close to very nice restaurants, bars and cafés For people who do not need the service of a hotel, but need a fridge and a coffée maker in the room - and who will enjoy the nice neighbourhood.

Very centrally located small appartments (close to Sendlinger Tor)

This hotel is over priced and not worth once cent... The decor is way outdated and very dirty! We had no toilet paper and couldn't get any, the sheets were stained, pillows about 20 years old, noisy bed, stains all over the walls, exposed wires, lights not working... Really a dump...... I would not recommend this place to anyone!
