29 reviewsWe stayed here as part of an organised holiday from England, partly to do some of the excellent walks in the Harz Mountains area. The hotel was very welcoming and comfortable. Our double room was large with bed and sofa and a balcony overlooking the hotel gardens. Service was very good and efficient. The buffet breakfast has a good variety of fruit, cheese, cold meats, eggs and fresh breads. Plenty to set us up for the day. As we were in a group of 40 we didn't try the normal evening dinner menu, but made our choice from two options in the morning. The dinner was good and well presented. The hotel's amenities were well maintained. Good bar / lounge and plenty of seating on the terrace outside. The indoor swimming pool was good too, quite warm and clean, although the changing areas were a bit small. We didn't use the sauna as you had to give an hour's notice as they didn't keep it on all the time to save energy. Staff were attentive and very friendly - although this isn't an area that gets a lot of English visitors they mostly spoke good English!
