Spa-Hostel

I stayed 2 nights in the 9 bed dorm. It was a lovely comfortable bed and the mattress was perfect for my bad back. The room was sufficiently airy with open windows which secured a good nights sleep. The hostel is a 10 minuets walk from shops and bar etc. The hostel itself serves only vegetarian options. In the building itself they serve local beers for €2 per bottle which I enjoyed very much. The showers are indeed unisex containing approx 8 cubicles HOWEVER they are sufficiently private as each stall (apart from two stalls) have fully enclosed doors maintaining shy guests dignity. The optional spa is further through a door from the shower room and is “without clothes” and contains an outside pool and 2 saunas , a steam room and a couple of rainfall style showers. The entire area is within a natural setting and a very pleasant experience as nobody is judging anyone as everyone there is in the same state (undressed) . The staff were extremely helpful and made suggestions on local area activities etc and also there is a FREE bike rental service station at the entrance to the property allowing ease of exploration around the local area. Fully recommended and fantastic value for money.
