Free parking beside the hotel (their property) so didn’t need to pay 7 euro for underground parking.  

Staff at reception were ok.  Breakfast was expensive (10 euros each) but good.  Tried to not have the second morning so we didn’t have to pay but since we had requested it in advance, we had to eat/pay.  

Room was a good size with nice furniture and a comfortable bed and bedding.  The reading lamps were good.  Desk with chair which worked fine for playing cards and eating dinner when we moved in the other chair.  TV had an English channel, nice to catch up on the news.

Nice modern bathroom.

Transit was handy and easy to get downtown.  We didn’t find the subway easy to get around, but the connections to and from the hotel were good and we had no problems.

Reasonable choice/price for Berlin

This hotel has a great pricing but there are some definite drawbacks. One of my main criteria was the Wi-Fi and that worked well throughout our visit. One thing they don't mention is that they only give you fresh towels every four days. Several reviews mention that it is far from the city but has good connections, which is true, but all of them require a trolley ride followed by one or more connections on the underground. This works well, but eats a lot of time.

Everything else at the hotel was great. The staff was helpful but had only limited English, which sometimes got interesting. They always did their best to answer our questions though. We only had the breakfast once, because it wasn't included in our package, but it was very nice. The room was clean. They did make up the room every day, just no towels.

If you stay at the hotel get a room away from the roadway. You have to open the windows, because there is no air conditioning and the roadway is very loud with frequent very annoying sirens throughout the night and day. We visited in July and it was tolerable, but had to request a fan which the hotel did provide at no charge.

There are a number of restaurants relatively close by, but you have to ride the tram or the bus to all of them. Several were quite good. I recommend Steak Company which was a standout and only about 10 minutes away via the tram and a short walk.

For the price this is a reasonable hotel but you're going to need to buy a pass for public transportation or spend a lot on taxis. I would stay there again.

Businesshotel also basic hotel

Even though hotel is a bit far from the central Berlin, and requires to change the public transport, it is easy to reach any destination. If you want a quiet place for rest with separate bathroom in a room, this is a good choice.

Functional hotel with good tram link to get you to the S-Bahn and into Berlin.

In some hotels you are spoiled for choice for toiletries but I found the hotel a bit mean with just one small sachet of liquid soap. Surely for the price of the stay we could have a little more ?

Reasonable hotel in Berlin

It's awesome that the price includes breakfast, and everyone is friendly. However, our room was on the third floor, which did not have mobile WIFI and was boiling due to their being no AC. As well, because it's so close to the city, sirens will go down the road every hour, so not the quietest location. A suggestion I have as well is to leave an extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, so that way if someone runs out after cleaning hours there would be no conflict. This would be a good place to stay if you want to be close to the city.
