The Alsacian village of Pulversheim is perhaps not the world`s most happening place. But this hotel restaurant is really good. We were a group of 13 (lucky) people who sat down to a nicely set table and were treated to quick and proficient service, and an interesting menu with a wide choice of dishes. Since we were in the "carp district" several of the group chose "carpes frites" and were all very happy with their choice. A dish with extra servings were left on a warming plate - nice touch. Some had magret de canard in green pepper sauce, also delicious. The set menu was declared very satisfying, with seafood gratin and roast chicken. 
The classic "Cafe gourmand" turned out to be a collection of very tasty small desserts and good espresso.
Prices are definitely reasonable too, so no wonder that the place was full at lunchtime on a Thursday in February.

Very good and varied food in a lively setting

I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality and the overall service of the Niemerich restaurant. We chose this restaurant to have a meal in the middle of our travel. The menu was very interesting and the meals were not expensive, with a very good "dish of the day" for less than 10€. The staff was very friendly and helping. The whole atmosphere was great. Additionally, the car park next to the restaurant is quite big so there is always a place for a car.
