Very slow service after arrival at 19:15.
Poor quality of food.
Shared a warm goats cheese salad, that was basically just above fridge temperature on lettuce dripping with oil. 
1) Previous: Fish, chips & peas - used to be large fish well cooked, peas and golden chips. This time dry 2x small overcooked fish, a sauce of ? and chips so hard they snapped when forked to eat.
2) Previous: Mussels in cream sauce with fries. This time arrived as very petit small mussels. Dry chips. Very salty cream sauce. Many unopened discarded.
3) Pitcher of rose - accommodating - but have had better at the price.

Thoroughly disappointed and phone number removed from iPhone list of local restaurants .

Stayed for the night with children whilst visiting Omaha Beach and surrounding area. Lovely clean room with an upstairs area for the children, very friendly staff and good home cooked food in their restaurant (book a table in advance as they do get busy).

Omaha Beach visit

My aunt and I really enjoyed our stay here.  We wanted to be as close to Omaha Beach as possible and we certainly were. I went out at 6:30 AM to see the beach at low tide. We slept very well in our double room.  You may need help learning how to lock the door if you aren't used to French locks.  
The location was nice and quiet and there was plenty of parking.  Just across the road is a nice memorial to the Native American soldiers.
The breakfast was really good.
We'd come back.

Great location

Charming does not begin to describe this fabulous seaside boutique hotel/resort - our family of 6 (including young children) spent two wonderful nights here - we had duplex room with a loft - we spent every evening in the expansive garden, enjoying wine and the beautifully manicured grounds. The restaurant was delicious, with daily specials, kind attentive staff (especially to those of us who embarrassingly speak poor French!) with a lovely breakfast buffet perfect for everyone and a snack hour and card games outside that we wish didn’t have to end. Our kids spent every evening at the bocce ball pit with other guests. The reason for our visit: to commemorate D Day, pay our respects to the cemetery and see the memorials was so meaningful and we learned so much. The hotel was perfectly located to do it all.

Perfect Normandy Trip

We sat in the conservatory and enjoyed an excellent meal. Service was attentive and friendly. As a veggie I enjoyed my food and my carnivore husband thought the food was one of the best of our trip. We even enjoyed listening in to the very energetic tour guide entertaining his group on the table near ours !

Lovely lunch

We stayed here in mid-August 2020.  I was with my two teenage boys and the setup of the room was perfect for us.  They each had a single bed in an upstairs loft area.  My bed downstairs was just fine and we also had a lovely little patio area.  The room was clean, nicely decorated, and in good condition.  Wifi was very good. 

The location is perfect if you want to visit Omaha beach and surrounding sites.  It was about a 1 minute walk from the hotel and to get to the monument of Omaha beach, about 15 minutes walk.  We visited a number of other sites in the area and this hotel was well situated to do this.  It would be helpful to have a car if you want to tour around.  The region is beautiful.

We did not eat at the restaurant but did use the take-away window for lunch, which offered very tasty baguette sandwiches (at good prices), and more.  

We had a lovely time and can highly recommend this hotel!  We are so grateful we got do to a bit of touring/ vacation before the 2nd wave of Covid came.  (The hotel staff and guests followed Covid regulations and we felt comfortable).

Lovely hotel, great location

We were there as part of a Backroads tour last summer. Staff was super friendly and accommodating for our large group. This was one of my favorite restaurants of the trip. Great mussels, and a place to relax out back of the restaurant.

Great place for lunch with a group

I had the privilege of having lunch here, while i was exploring Normandy. My colleague had the beef tartare and i had the moules frites. Both dishes were the best that i have ever tasted. Simple as that. This place is truly a hidden gem. The restaurant at least. 

Speechless.

We stayed here 2 nights coming from Paris on the train to Bayeux (2.5hrs) and then the local bus (45mins). It was a 15min walk along the beach to the hotel/restaurant. The room was simple, clean and bright with a nice balcony. It was very quiet at night. Beach towels were provided! There is a nice outside area with lots of lounge chairs, cafe tables, ping pong and bocce. The restaurant is delicious home cooking by the family. Make a reservation for dinner—it can get crowded. They also have a walkaway window for sandwiches to take, very good and cheap and perfect for the hike to the American Cemetary (about 2 miles). The long long beach is good for walking, wading and swimming. Huge tide range and shallow beach profile means you can walk out very far and still only be waist deep in water. Without renting a car we were able to get here and see the major d-day sites from this lovely family run B&B. I would come again 

Lovely family run B&B just off the beach

Lovely location just back from the beach and away from the tourist part of the town. Gorgeous restaurant. Delicious French fare local to region with local seafood. Rooms very private. Great outdoor bar area for drinks as well. Friendly owner. Great place to stay overnight when visiting DDay region.
