We found both Brigitte and her guesthouse altogether charming. The location is very central and handy for the station. Although it is located across the road from a train line and motorway, we weren't unduly bothered by the noise. The rooms and public areas are clean and pleasantly decorated in a kitschy, quirky style. If you want to cook for yourself while in Nice there is a well-equipped kitchen. There are no staff on the premises for most of the day, but Brigitte is very helpful if you contact her by phone, text or email. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chez Brigitte to anyone looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful to stay in Nice.
