33 reviewsIt is very rare that I write a review of a trip - but there are times when the excellence of the experience compels me to share with others the sheer joy that my wife and I shared at sous l'Olivier. Its location high above Menton made for a quiet, cool and relaxing stay - my wife stated that she has never been so relaxed or slept so well - she is a Yoga teacher.... Breakfasts were a real highlight, healthy, fresh and interesting. We chose to fly to Nice, where we were collected by Jeremie, who transported us to the hotel, where an unexpected and delicious impromptu meal had been prepared - even though due to flight delays it was after midnight - Merci Lucie. So wonderful to visit a place and come away having made new friends. Such an antidote to the anonymous formula holiday experiences usually meted out. Our regards to 'Offy' the cat who is one cool dude. We look forward to returning and perhaps sharing our experience with our children, just completing their University studies - watch this space..
